- Instructors
do all your briefings on the ground
- You
would then jump by your self with an instructor evaluating
your performance by watching you from the plane
- The
progression course consists of 25 jumps
- You
would then have to learn more flying skills by jumping
with other experienced skydivers
You
would do your first static line jump after the 7 lectures
from 3500 feet. The ground school takes a full day so
if it is a big class, you may only get to jump the next

For those who wish to learn to SkyDive Solo, and to jump with other SkyDivers at Drop Zones around the world, the Internationally Recognised Accelerated Freefall (AFF) Program involves Ground School Training (approx. 6 hours) and 10 AFF Levels (10 SkyDives). Accelerated Freefall (AFF) is the fast track program designed to turn you into a safe and competent skydiver in the shortest period of time.
You wear your own parachute, jump suit, helmet, altimeter and goggles, experiencing solo freefall (35 – 45 seconds) from jump number one from an altitude of between 10 000 ft and 12 000 ft.
The first 3 AFF Levels are performed under the direct "in freefall supervision" of two highly experienced and certified AFF Instructors who will be at your side not only for safety (they are able to activate your parachute should you fail to do so by the right altitude), but also to coach, assist, and
evaluate your performance. From AFF Level 4 you progress to one AFF Instructor.
For your first few solo parachute landings you will also receive assistance, in the form of brightlycoloured batons, to guide you to a safe landing on the Drop Zone.
On completion of AFF Level 1 you will be awarded with a certificate of achievement signed by your AFF Instructor and the Drop Zone's Chief Instructor. Another certificate of accomplishment is awarded on completion of the full AFF Program.
It is recommended to complete at least one Tandem Introductory SkyDive prior to beginning with the Accelerated Freefall Program; however you can enrol on the AFF Program with no prior skydiving experience.
Advance Bookings Essential. R 500 per person deposit is required.
